Parents and Students,
I want my expectations of my students to be clear and understood. We are all here to learn and no ones actions should take away from another students learning experience. My expectations and classroom rules are clear and easy to follow. You can find a copy of these hanging on my wall next to the smart board. I should not have to refer to these often as you will be in High School next year and I expect you know how to behave in a classroom
1. Respect each others opinions, works and personal beliefs. We will engage in many class discussions but they will be done in a positive respectful manner even if you do not agree with what the other person has to say.
2. One person talks at a time.
3. Raise your hand when you have something to say.
4. Keep your language appropriate. If the word or words you are trying to say cannot be said in a PG movie- they should not be said in my classroom.
5. Always bring your notebook and keep it up to date. You will need to have your notebook with you everyday. If you do not you may fall behind or not have the appropriate materials when we are ready for a notebook check.
